The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring safe and quality work practices, adhering to site policies, and resolving procurement and supply chain discrepancies. This role involves managing the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies. Key duties include receiving and staging materials for customer jobs, conducting physical inventory counts, maintaining the warehouse's physical condition through layout planning and equipment inspection, tracking ongoing projects, establishing and enforcing procedures, coordinating receiving inspections, and examining materials to verify specifications before stocking.
Must have:
  • Minimum of two years of experience managing a Warehouse
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience directing warehouse personnel
  • Ability to work in a production environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Good to have:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry
  • Supporting supply chain demands
  • Full mobility to showcase installation and production techniques
  • Adequate sight, speech, and hearing for a woodworking environment
  • Extensive travel may be required

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager ensures safe and quality work practices and adherence to site policies and procedures. This role assists in quickly solving procurement and other supply chain discrepancies and reports issues to the required level of management to assist in resolution. This role, provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.

$65K to $80K with 10% bonus potential

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and stage all materials for customer jobs at California Closets Owned (CCO) locations.
  • Conduct physical counts to control inventory levels and reconcile with the data storage system.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement.
  • Track and analyze all ongoing projects.
  • Ensure appropriate procedures and standards are established and followed.
  • Ensure all work is complete and documented.
  • Coordinate receiving inspection to ensure all ordered materials have been received.
  • Examine materials to verify specifications required and stock materials in designated areas of the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Minimum of two years of experience managing a Warehouse.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in directing warehouse personnel as required and supporting supply chain demands.
  • Ability to work in a production environment including sitting, standing, bending, and operating machinery.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have full mobility to showcase installation and production techniques.
  • Must have sight, speech, and hearing adequate for a woodworking environment.
  • Extensive travel may be required.
