2D Animator

Our 450+ M2 family is a wealth of multicultural talents and consists of more than 20 nationalities from all over the world. Our range covers from storytelling to design, from modeling to texturing, from camera layout to animation and lighting, and from effects to color grading. Right now, M2 Animation is looking for Render Wrangler to contribute on a CG TV Series for a top client. Our teams produce a variety of series-format animation: Tween, 2D, preschool etc.

This position is based on Bangkok Studio and required Residential in Thailand already


The Position:
We are looking for positive-thinking, eager, and passionate 2D Animators with strong interpersonal skills to join our multinational studio and help us create world-class animation. We need 2D Animators who have the technical understanding of how his/her work affects the other departments that use the work delivered. Our new 2D Animators should be willing to learn new techniques, take direction and take criticism in a professional manner and not least deliver high quality of work, on time, with minimal supervision.

As 2D Animator, you must be skilled in the principles of 2D animation – both creatively and technically – and be willing to push yourself to achieve the best results that you can. You should have a strong eye for High Quality animation and details. You must be willing to adapt to new styles, able to work with a team and take direction from our Animation Director, follow delivery requirements and feedback from Production Management and client, and follow technical requirements from TDs and CG Supervisors. You must be confident to speak up when direction is not clear, and able to take constructive criticism in a professional, and open-minded manner. We are looking for 2D animators already living in Thailand.

Skills and Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Creating keyframes and/or tweens for assigned shots.
• Knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony.
• Possess some drawing skills and demonstrates excellence in animating character dialogue and performance.
• Knowledge in character builds, mouth and hand comps is an asset.
• Passionate, confident, resourceful, self-motivated, and creative!
• Strive for excellent communication within team and participate in meeting when required.
• Maintain quality and continuity of designs within the show, staying on model.
