Job Description

TeamCLVSB seeks a freelance 3D Artist for a long-term project. Responsibilities include creating high-quality, realistic 3D models (low to mid-poly environments, props, clothing, accessories, hair, etc.) and textures. The role requires integrating 3D assets into Unity, adhering to technical specifications, and ensuring artistic and technical quality. You'll create environments and set dressing based on concept art, import/correct character animations in Unity, and collaborate with the Art Lead and other departments. Experience with Unity3D, mobile game development, and art fundamentals is crucial. Proficiency in Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter/Designer, and Marvelous Designer is also required.

Must have:

3+ years experience in 3D modeling and texturing
Proficiency in Unity3D and relevant software
Understanding of mobile game development workflow
Strong art fundamentals and texturing skills
Ability to rig, skin, and animate characters

We are currently looking for a talented freelance 3D artist for a long-term mission to help us bring our virtual dancefloors and avatars to life with cutting-edge creativity and innovation

Role

Creating high-quality realistic 3D Models (Low to mid poly environments, props, clothing, accessories, hairs etc) & Textures.
Integrating 3D Assets into Unity following the defined technical requirements and ensuring that both technical and artistic quality is met.
Creating environments and set dressing based on concept art & references.
Importing / correcting animations of characters in UNITY
Working closely with the Art Lead to make sure the artistic vision is coming to life.
Collaborating with other departments to help create the best player experience possible.
Working with Production to ensure time estimates are accurate and achievable.
Supporting the Asset Outsourcing process by gathering references and creating prototype 3d models.

Profile

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in creating realistic 3D models and textures.
Experience with Unity3D
Solid understanding of mobile game development e.g asset creation workflow requirements for performance and stability.
Deep understanding of art fundamentals and design, a keen eye for composition, shape, colour and detail,
An exceptional understanding of form, structure and silhouette in regard to modelling.
Strong texturing and painting skills.
Great knowledge of 3D packages such as Maya or Blender,
Proficient in Zbrush, Photoshop, Adobe Substance Painter/Designer, Marvelous Designer.
Ability to rig and skin characters and objects for animation.
Ability to create and refine character and object animation cycles and loops.
Great communication skills & team-player attitude.
French (fluent) and English (pro)
