Experience with tolerance stack-up and GD&T is required. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and improving gearbox and gear shifting performance.

Role

Team Member -Drivetrain Shift System Design

(To design and develop automotive transmission shift system parts)

Responsibility

Lay-outing, Designing & Development of transmission shifting /control system (Shift cables, Selector).

Gear Shift Operation and NVH Performance improvement.

Analysis of testing failures/market problem pertaining to gearbox and gear shifting system.

Technical Competencies

Understanding of Manual Transmission sub-systems- gearbox, gear shift mechanism, synchromesh system, Clutch operation.

Understanding of Automated Manual (AMT)/Automatic/EV transmission Gear Shift Sys.

Basics understanding of Controller application for Shift by wire.

Tolerance stack-up and GD&T.

Designer CAE

Educational Qualification And Work Experience

Full Time B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical

Minimum 60 % marks throughout education
