Job Description

This apprenticeship offers a hands-on opportunity to become a Vehicle Technician at Tesla's Chatswood location. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning to service and inspect Tesla vehicles. Responsibilities include supporting the service team, completing Tesla-specific training (including a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology), developing product knowledge, performing basic service work under supervision, maintaining workshop cleanliness, and contributing to team goals. The program begins in January 2025, with shortlisting commencing September 23rd, 2024. Applicants must have Year 12 completion, a valid driver's license, fluent English, technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do

Work as a team to deliver results and achieve daily goals
Provide critical support to the Service Team
Complete Tesla Specific training and a Certificate lll in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
Develop knowledge of all Tesla products, service systems, process and procedures
Perform basic service work and inspections of new and inventory cars under supervision
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and Service Centre Workshop

What You’ll Bring

Educational experience: Year 12 completion
Eligibility to attend foundation training through a Registered Training Organisation
Valid driver's license
Fluent English
Technical acumen – interest in electronics and technology
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
Ability to learn on the job, work quickly, efficiently and follow instructions
Ability to handle shifting priorities and meet deadlines
Energetic and enthusiastic with a team-player attitude
Love to change the status quo and work in high-pressure situations.
Be proactive and take initiative, planning ahead to best support your team
