Job Description

As an AR Manager at Maersk, you will be responsible for managing a team with given process scope (OTC, Collections and/or credit management). This role might be segregated according to geography and customer segmentation. Typically, you will manage multiple team leaders. You will be part of a dynamic and global team that is committed to providing excellent customer service and driving operational excellence. You will be responsible for the following: - Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the AR process - Manage the AR team and provide guidance and support - Analyze and interpret AR data to identify areas for improvement - Manage relationships with customers to ensure timely payment - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Must have:
  • Experience in managing AR teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Good to have:
  • Experience in the logistics industry
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience with credit management
