Nagarro seeks a reliable, detail-oriented individual for a part-time Office Building Janitor position. Responsibilities include operating and unloading the dishwasher, maintaining kitchen and break area cleanliness, tidying conference rooms and shared spaces, cleaning and sanitizing common areas, ensuring restroom supply stocking, reporting maintenance needs, and providing additional light facilities support like event setup and recycling management. Prior experience is preferred but not required. The role demands dependability, time management skills, ability to perform light physical tasks, and a positive attitude.

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Office Building Janitor, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the smooth functionality of our office. The role includes light facility tasks such as running the dishwasher, assisting with lunch clean-up, and keeping essential supplies stocked in common areas, including restrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Dishwasher & Kitchen Maintenance

    • Operate and unload the dishwasher daily to ensure kitchen items are ready for use.
    • Keep kitchen and break areas clean and organized after lunches and meetings.
  2. General Office Clean-Up

    • Help tidy conference rooms and shared spaces as needed.
    • Regularly clean and sanitize common areas to maintain a welcoming environment.
  3. Restroom Supplies & Maintenance

    • Check restroom supplies daily, ensuring soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are stocked.
    • Report any maintenance needs promptly to management.
    • Clean and restock restrooms as needed.
  4. Additional Light Facilities Support

    • Assist with basic tasks such as setting up for office events, moving small items, and managing recycling/trash disposal.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks, such as lifting small items and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized office environment.

Additional Information

  • This is a part-time contract position (20 to 25 hours weekly)
  • Hourly rate is $17 to $19/ hourly on W2 with no benefits
