Job Description

The Sitecore Commerce Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and deploying Sitecore Commerce solutions, specifically Sitecore OrderCloud, and advising customers. They will be involved in integrating Sitecore OrderCloud with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways. Responsibilities include leading technical leadership in microservices-based commerce solutions and headless architecture, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with different teams. This role requires a deep understanding of commerce domains, workflows, and strategies to ensure successful implementation. They will also need to develop proof-of-concepts and mentor team members.

Must have:

Expertise in Sitecore OrderCloud and commerce domains.
Experience with eCommerce architecture and API-based integrations.
Ability to articulate business and technical concepts to audiences.

Good to have:

Experience with other enterprise commerce platforms.
Knowledge of Sitecore’s composable DXP offerings.
Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies.

About the Role/ The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Sitecore Commerce Solution Architect with expertise in Sitecore OrderCloud to join our APJ Customer Value Realization team. This role involves architecting, deploying, and advising customers on Sitecore Commerce solutions, integrating with broader digital ecosystems, and ensuring successful commerce implementations for businesses across APJ.

What You’ll Do:

Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, providing strategic guidance, solution architecture, and hands-on assistance in Sitecore OrderCloud implementations.
Architect and deploy Sitecore OrderCloud solutions, leveraging API-first, cloud-native, and headless commerce capabilities for complex B2B, B2C, and B2B2C use cases.
Lead integration efforts between Sitecore OrderCloud and complementary systems, such as ERP, CRM, WMS, PIM, DAM, Payment Gateways, Inventory & Order Management Systems.
Provide technical leadership in microservices-based commerce solutions and headless architecture.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to drive successful project delivery.
Develop proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and best practices for Sitecore OrderCloud solutions.
Support and mentor team members on technical and business challenges.

What You Need to Succeed:

Extensive expertise in Sitecore OrderCloud and deep understanding of commerce domain and workflows, commerce strategies, private and public marketplace solutions, and headless commerce concepts.
Experience with other enterprise commerce platforms such as Commerce Tools , SAP Hybris, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Adobe Magento, Shopify Plus, or BigCommerce is a strong plus.
Strong background in eCommerce architecture, API-based integrations, and microservices design.
Proven ability to articulate business value and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Knowledge of Sitecore’s broader composable DXP offerings, including Content Hub, CDP/Personalize, and XM Cloud, is an advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, customer-centric mindset, and passion for technology.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

Familiarity with multiple products within Sitecore’s latest composable DXP stack.
Experience with DXP, CMS, Searchandising, Personalization, AI-driven commerce.
Experience with high-touch customer and partner support models.
Strong documentation, demo-building, and RFP/RFI response capabilities.
Understanding of broader website architecture aspects, including infrastructure, DevOps, and integrations.
