We are a passionate team working on an Open World Survival game with a stylized look in a world of magic and wonder. As we expand, we’re looking for a <strong>Community Manager</strong> to be the voice of our game and studio, engaging players across platforms and keeping the vibes alive.

Your Role

As a <strong>Community Manager</strong> at Envar Games, you’ll be the bridge between our development team and our community. From writing witty patch notes to hosting livestreams, making viral memes, or crafting emotional dev diaries—this role has a bit of everything. You’ll grow and engage our player base while making sure they feel heard, hyped, and part of the journey.

You should feel comfortable being a face and voice to represent both the team and the players. Serving occasionally as a bringer of bad news, often as a builder of hype and regularly as an intermediary for feedback, discussions and passionate debates!

Key Responsibilities

• <strong>Create Amazing Content:</strong> Write informational, funny, and engaging posts for Dev Diaries, Patch Notes, Teasers, Announcements, and more.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Livestream &amp; Video Content:</strong> Edit videos and host livestreams to give fans a behind-the-scenes look into the game’s development.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Master the Memes:</strong> Craft original, high-quality memes that get people talking. Bonus points if you share one you’re proud of with your application.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Multi-Platform Management:</strong> Build and manage our community across Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Steam, and BlueSky/X.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Player Engagement:</strong> Foster a positive, inclusive, and fun environment in all our channels.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Feedback Loops:</strong> Gather, organize, and relay player feedback to the dev team in clear, actionable ways.</p>

• <strong>Be Autonomous &amp; Creative: </strong>Think beyond checklists and to-do lists and drive creative ideas through execution. Make suggestions, experiment &amp; thrive in an environment where you’re given plenty of freedom and trust!

Required Qualifications

• <strong>Experience in Games:</strong> Ideally at least 2 years of experience in a relevant role with 1+ shipped title.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Content Savvy:</strong> Make ‘em laugh! Strong writing skills with a knack for voice, humor, and tone in English.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Tech &amp; Tools:</strong> You’re the Admin! Proficiency with Discord, Instagram, TikTok, Steam, and X/BlueSky.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Editing Know-How:</strong> Familiarity with video editing tools for short-form and stream-ready content.<br><br></p>

• <strong>Social Superpowers:</strong> A deep understanding of internet culture and what makes communities tick.<br><br></p>

Bonus Points

• You’ve grown a community from scratch or helped one thrive through key milestones.<br><br></p>

• You’ve hosted dev streams, AMAs, or in-game community events.<br><br></p>

• You have a spicy meme portfolio ready to go.<br><br></p>
