Community Manager Internship F/M

New Tales is currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Community Manager Intern to join our team and work on an exciting adventure of fostering communities around brand new IPs.

You will be reporting to the Communication & Community Lead and be mentored by our Senior Community Content Manager as part of a Publishing team integrating Brand management, Communication, Digital Marketing and Media.

As Community Manager Intern, you will interact with players on Discord and other social media platforms and will have a strong focus on producing community content, including images and short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram and more.

The position is available for a 6-month internship or a 1-year apprenticeship contract (alternance in French), and be based at our game development studio EMETERIA, in Lyon, France.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Interact with Players: Engage with players on Discord and various social media platforms to foster a positive and active community environment.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality images and short-form videos for social media channels, community posts, and other communication materials.
• Community Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our games and their communities. Monitor and report on community feedback and activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand and Communication teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
• Influencer Relations: Build and nurture relationships with community members and influencers to expand our reach and impact.
• Campaign Implementation: Assist in the planning and execution of community engagement campaigns to boost player interaction and satisfaction.
• Content Approval: Manage the content approval process with game studios, communication teams, and partners to ensure compliance and brand consistency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, ideally with a focus on Communications, Marketing, Community Management or a related field.
• Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software is required.
• Good understanding of Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Discord, Reddit, YouTube & TikTok.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to produce engaging and visually appealing content.
• In tune with current social media trends, especially with TikTok and ble to propose creative ideas based on current trends or new ideas adapted to our product
