*Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 USD hourly


POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the setup and support of daily color sessions both on-site and remote. Primarily they will be handling logistics from task management, bay and theater setups, and communication between departments and Company 3 global sites. In this position they will actively provide support and solutions for the colorist team. 

MAIN DUTIES:
In this role, you will coordinate the setup and prep of all supervised and non-supervised sessions, work with Scheduling to ensure resources are sourced for upcoming sessions, and work with Lead Color Assistants to delegate and assign daily tasks using task management applications (Asana, ClickUp, etc). You will be responsible for the scheduling and operation of virtual session tools (Clearview Flex, Clearview Pivot, Streambox, TViPs), coordinate with Engineering team to troubleshoot any technical session issues, and coordinate with show producers and lead assists to make sure all post session deliverables and renders are completed. You would also be responsible for the following:
  • Manage smooth transition between support shifts. 
  • Work with Deliverables team to ensure proper Quality Check protocols are being followed. 
  • Work with Engineering to ensure projectors and reference displays are properly calibrated.
  • Create and maintain documentation regarding training, workflows, resources, troubleshooting, and image science.  
  • Work with Engineering to manage Resolve databases and application upgrades. 
  • Work with Data I/O team to manage SAN usage and archiving. 
  • Work with Director of Production Operations and Production Operations Managers to implement shift-based Color Assistant coverage. 
  • Work with Director of Production Operations to review and improve color bay uniformity. 

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have prior working experience in Post Production experience, in Production or Operations role. They must be knowledgeable in the operation of virtual tools such as Clearview Flex, Pivot, and Streambox. They will also bring prior experience with operations of displays and projectors that are designed for color grading and accuracy. Additional desired skills include:
  • Is a clear and organized communicator who can manage a client’s expectations and support multiple urgencies. 
  • Has a strong ability to work unsupervised, at a fast pace in a calm and collected manner with a result-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.  
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve and Filmlight Baselight.
