The Creative Content Manager for Movies at STAGE will oversee the creative development, execution, and delivery of film projects across various formats such as Short Film, Mini Feature Film, and Feature Film. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic execution, and audience engagement to ensure all movie projects align with our STAGE’s vision and resonate with diverse audiences, particularly those rooted in Rajasthani culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Movies Strategies Execution:
Execute content strategies that align with STAGE's audience preferences and brand values for projects spanning short films, mini feature films, and feature films.
Collaborate with external writers and directors to develop compelling, culturally relevant scripts that reflect the unique cultural nuances of Rajasthan.
Work closely with marketing and analytics teams to ensure content performance aligns with strategic goals.
Feature Film Scripting Development:
Lead and manage the Writers’ Room for inhouse, research based script development, ensuring scripts are culturally resonant and meet high quality standards.
Provide comprehensive feedback and creative direction to enhance script quality and alignment with audience expectations.
Organize Content testing and focus groups to gather early feedback and make necessary adjustments
Production Oversight:
Supervise the entire script development process, production process, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Oversee the quality of the production, ensuring that all content adheres to predetermined creative and quality standards.
Manage budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial compliance.
Team Leadership:
Inspire and lead a team of producers, directors, and creative writing staff to produce high quality scripts and engaging content.
Foster a creative and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Industry Networking:
Engage with internal departments such as marketing, legal, and finance to streamline production processes and address challenges efficiently.
Maintain and expand relationships with key industry players, including talent agencies, production houses, and international partners, to enhance our creative capabilities and market presence.
Content Performance Responsibilities:
Monitor new user acquisition and consumption metrics.
Report regularly on series performance, providing insights and recommendations for future projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in content management or a related role within the film or OTT industry.
Proven track record of managing successful film projects with a strong portfolio in script writing and direction department.
Deep understanding of human emotions, cinematic techniques, Regional/Indian/World Cinema and audience engagement, with a strong emphasis on Rajasthani culture.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preference will be given to talent who are locally rooted from Rajasthan or nearby regions, with a strong understanding of Rajasthani culture and societal nuances.
