Responsibilities
- Leads certain aspects of the contracts administration function.
- The contracts administration function reviews and administers agreements such as distribution agreements, contractor agreements, vendor contracts, talent agreements, and releases across most motion picture group divisions, i.e., Columbia, TriStar, 3000 Pictures, Acquisitions.
- Identifies gaps and opportunities to benefit the organization.
- Maintains contract management software for all motion picture groups above.
- Supports attorneys and internal client groups for all motion picture groups above.
- Manages and enhances contract administration processes and allocates support to legal and other applicable departments for all motion picture groups above.
- Manages and ensures compliance with contract terms for all motion picture groups above.
- Ensures filing and distribution of applicable documents for all motion picture groups above.
- Accountable for the management of a major section of work, including working with productions, for all motion picture groups above, to ensure smooth payroll and other functions.
- Translates approved strategies for the unit into short-term objectives and plans. Implements and enforces approved policies and procedures. Contributes to annual plans.
- Interacts with management to keep abreast of unit objectives. Interacts with peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs. Builds and enhances key internal and external contacts.
- Directs the work of the coordinator for all motion picture groups above.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience preferred
- Demonstrable Project Management skills
- Experience in managing own workload and used to high volumes of data
- Able to work effectively to strict deadlines and processes, and maintain professionalism and accuracy
- Excellent systems skills
- Knowledge and interest in Film and Entertainment
Skills/Abilities
The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
