Summary

As a Manager, Fantasy Sports Operations, you will play a central role in leading a key operations team for DraftKings' brand new fantasy product. You must have strong leadership skills and an ability to collaborate with other teams across product, operations and engineering at DraftKings. You will lead a team of associates managing day-to-day operations for Pick6, own and develop content merchandising strategy for Pick6, develop and implement testing plans to analyze results and improve performance. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Pick6 Operations, Promotions, Analytics, CRM, and Finance, utilize data to identify trends, and create presentations and written materials.
Must have:
  • Degree in quantitative or business field
  • Enthusiasm for sports and fantasy
  • Experience as a lead or people manager
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make and defend decisions

What you'll do as a Manager, Fantasy Sports Operations

  • Lead a team of associates managing day-to-day operations for Pick6.

  • Own and develop content merchandising strategy for Pick6.

  • Develop and implement testing plans to analyze results and improve performance.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Pick6 Operations, Promotions, Analytics, CRM, and Finance.

  • Utilize data to identify the trends that influence future performance.

  • Create presentations and written materials and present to both technical and non-technical audiences in an effective way, articulating ideas, and opinions clearly and efficiently.

What you'll bring

  • Degree in a quantitative or business-related field or equivalent experience.

  • Enthusiasm for sports, with an interest in fantasy sports.

  • Experience as a lead or people manager.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

  • Adaptability in a new, fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Ability to make and confidently defend decisions, even when solutions aren't clear-cut.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 89,600.00 USD - 112,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
