Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Dubbing Artist at Rooftop in Jaipur. As a Dubbing Artist, you will be responsible for providing voice-over services for various art experiences and courses offered on our platform. Your role will involve bringing art content to life through engaging voice performances.

Roles and Responsibilities

Voice Performance:

• Provide voice dubbing for characters in films, television shows, animated series, advertisements, and other media.
• Interpret and convey the original character's emotions, tone, and nuances in the target language.
• Adapt voice pitch, tone, and style to match different characters and situations, ensuring consistency throughout the project.

Script Interpretation and Adaptation:

• Read and interpret scripts to understand the context, character, and emotional tone.
• Work closely with translators and directors to adapt the script for dubbing, ensuring that cultural and linguistic nuances are accurately conveyed.
• Modify and adapt the dialogue to fit the lip movements and timing of the original actors, maintaining synchronization.

Recording Sessions:

• Attend and participate in recording sessions at studios or remotely, as required.
• Collaborate with sound engineers to achieve optimal sound quality and ensure that the dubbed lines are delivered accurately and clearly.
• Perform retakes and revisions as needed, based on director feedback, to achieve the desired performance.

Synchronization and Timing:

• Ensure the dubbed dialogue perfectly synchronises with the original actors' lip movements, gestures, and timing.
• Please pay attention to pacing and rhythm, ensuring that the voice-over flows naturally within the scene's context.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with directors, producers, and sound engineers to understand the project’s requirements and deliver a performance that aligns with the overall vision.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality of the dubbing process, including adjustments to scripts or performance techniques.

Quality Control:

• Review and revise dubbing work to ensure high-quality output, making sure that there are no errors or inconsistencies in the final product.
• Maintain a high standard of pronunciation, enunciation, and clarity in all recordings.

Language Proficiency:

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in the target language, including an understanding of regional accents, dialects, and cultural references.
• Ensure that all dubbed content is culturally appropriate and accurately reflects the original material.

Voice Care and Maintenance:

• Practice good vocal hygiene and techniques to maintain voice quality and prevent strain or injury.
• Engage in regular voice training and exercises to improve vocal range, endurance, and versatility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in language fluency and diction
