Job Description:

About the Role: The ideal candidate will be a motivated and detail-oriented professional who can lead architecture and design governance, contributing to the solution design, deployment, run, and change processes for integration capabilities. The ideal candidate must have a passion for next-generation architecture, application, and platform performance, as well as governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture and design activities to align with rapidly evolving business needs, while remaining highly performant, reliable, and resilient.
  • Understand business drivers and work closely with other IT verticals and business platforms to deliver a cohesive and fully interoperable set of solutions.
  • Drive enterprise architecture activities, which include:
    • Business capabilities/processes analysis
    • Technology evaluation
    • Application roadmap planning/solutioning
    • Data governance/integration
    • Privacy & security by design
  • Advise and recommend enterprise architecture strategies, blueprints, principles, patterns, processes, and methodologies.
  • Drive enterprise architecture design authority governance with project architects/managers to ensure architectural compliance.
  • Research market/competition/emerging technologies and recommend technologies, standards, methods, and tools for both long-term strategic and short-term tactical business objectives.
  • Lead and guide IT & business stakeholders on the target enterprise capability blueprint.
  • Provide architecture recommendations for:
    • Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)
    • Enterprise integration patterns (API, Event, ESB)
    • Business Intelligence (GCP) / Master Data Management technologies
  • Engage with the Enterprise Architecture governance body by participating in project architecture and align project teams on improvements/solutions based on best practices, IT strategic directions, and current state of the art.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specification documents and/or position papers.
  • Build strong relationships with platform vendors and ensure continuous learning and knowledge sharing through internal and external expert networks.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in the CPG industry, including enterprise solution design, delivery of applications/technologies linked to Finance Supply Chain business capabilities including Order to Cash, Forecast to Stock, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report business processes.

Preferred Skills/Profile:

  • Experience developing and delivering an enterprise-wide technology architecture plan that achieves application simplification and standardization.
  • Essential: SAP ERP (S4) experience with strong knowledge of Demand/Supply Planning, OMS, WMS & TMS technologies.
  • A plus: Omni-Channel Ecommerce, CRM, Retail, Sales & Marketing application design and delivery experience.
  • Ability to create impactful presentations that effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and build the enterprise architecture function “from scratch.”
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence indirectly, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and drive change.
  • Ability to manage both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Project management and process experience, including accurate estimation of resources, timeframes, and budgets.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in the CPG industry, including enterprise solution design, delivery of applications/technologies linked to Finance Supply Chain business capabilities including Order to Cash, Forecast to Stock, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report business processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology experience.
  • Certified practitioner in industry-recognized standards such as:
    • Open Group TOGAF
    • SAP S4/HANA
    • Microsoft Azure/PowerPlatform
    • GCP
