As a Esports Content Producer for Content Services, you will lead and contribute to the story development and execution of Riot’s APAC EM Esports broadcasts and shoulder content programming, including split teases, features, and promos. You will collaborate closely with the Esports Product Teams, Publishing, and Content Services to create compelling video form narratives that showcase the personalities of our esports pros, increasing audience engagement, retention, and product sentiment.
You’ll be our Esports video visionary, creating and shepherding technically excellent, fun-heightened, player-approved, gameplay video content from conception to delivery, improving the quality bar for the Esports Broadcast division in SEA.
Responsibilities:
Own the creative voice, look and feel for Apac EM Esports events.
Create a partnership approach with other internal groups (publishing, content services, business development, league management, events, etc)
Coordinate with a variety of Esports technical and creative teams, as well as editors, and others to guide Esports gameplay video projects through post-production to achieve unparalleled industry results.
You are a master of influence, carefully balancing creative excellence with on time delivery while following budget constraints and looking for savings.
Infuse creative and planning meetings with fresh ideas for new, electrifying Esports content that’ll blow players away.
Ability to create - not follow - the culture and trends that fall at the intersection of gaming, pop culture, entertainment, music and lifestyle.
Evaluate our Esports content, presenting new ways to improve our technical and editorial skills.
Collaborate with the creative services and broadcast graphics team to extend the Apac EM Esports events visual identity to key components of the broadcast, including stage design, and graphics packages
Ability to manage stakeholder reviews, maintaining detailed communications throughout a video’s process from concept to delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Experienced: you have 5+ years of work experience as a producer in gaming, sports, or entertainment content production; you are able to create & execute on project plans and schedules. You possess knowledge of project types, including web, mobile, video, brand, and strategic consulting.
Creative story teller: you have the skill and the passion to craft compelling, authentic, and fresh narratives for Esports audiences. You possess production & project management experience with a reel or links demonstrating strong creative video content.
Read scripts, oversees broadcast deliverables and provide creative and editorial feedback to teams
Ensuring vision is aligned with brand vision, schedule, budget and quality targets.
Exercise quality control of all aspects of production, video, sound, graphics, observing, and music
Team player: you're open to performing any task, whether big or small; you're willing to teach and learn, lead, and follow.
Initiate music licensing and composition requests with Riot's music group, confirming usage, territory, timeline, and artist credits.
Send trailers and other assets to Riot's Legal team with proper caveats for review and confirm required disclaimers.
