Accurately log bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, or video evidence using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).Prioritize and categorize bugs based on severity and impact on the game experience.
Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed issues do not reoccur in future builds.Perform smoke testing on daily builds and before key releases to verify build stability.
Test the game across a wide range of devices, screen resolutions, and OS versions to ensure broad compatibility and smooth user experience.
Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers during all phases of development to provide timely feedback.Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and QA retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
Monitor game performance, including frame rate, load times, battery consumption, and memory usage.Evaluate the user experience, game balance, progression systems, and monetization flows for potential improvements.
Participate in testing of live events, in-app purchases, updates, and patches in real-time environments.Support and monitor live builds post-release to identify and resolve user-reported issues quickly.
Collaborate on test automation efforts using tools like Appium, Unity Test Framework, or custom scripts if applicable.
2–5 years of hands-on QA or game testing experience, preferably in mobile games.
Strong understanding of game design, mobile UI/UX patterns, and the game development life cycle.
Proficient in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Trello, Confluence).
In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, including differences in device behavior and limitations.
Experience in functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and device compatibility testing.
