This 12-week summer internship at Activision Central Technology's Demonware Vancouver office requires on-site work (5 days a week). This role will be required to be onsite at the Demonware Vancouver office 5 days a week, from Monday – Friday.

The Company

Activision Central Tech provides software tools and build infrastructure technologies for several Activision studios, like Sledgehammer Games, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward for hit AAA franchises like Call of Duty.

The Studio

The Vancouver studio is part of a broader team headed up from Los Angeles and is housed within Demonware. We are a technology company and dedicated to openness. This role will be for a 12 week summer internship.

The Role

Support the Demonware team’s IT needs, asset management, security compliance, game development kits, and more!

This internship will provide a runway of growth as an intern will have the opportunity to learn corporate and game technology infrastructure.

Our ideal candidate will be someone with the following interests and experience:

  • A passion for innovation that can come in all different forms (computer building, personal projects, etc...)

  • Confidence in navigating a computer’s operating system

  • Previous exposure to IT support

  • Excellent communication and customer support

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in late-May or mid-June

  • Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts

  • Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner

  • Works well with others and contributes to team tasks

  • Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities

  • Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively

  • Previous IT experience is a strong plus!

The standard base pay range for this role is 62,000 CAD annually. This value is the expected annualized base pay of interns in British Columbia, Canada. Ultimately, your offer will be based on several factors, including relevant education, performance, and work location.
