Community is a cornerstone of Bungie games. We are looking for someone to lead our Marathon Community team to build strong relationships between our players and teams at Bungie. The Global Community Lead works closely with Franchise Marketing, publishing teams, industry partners, and the development team to support our direct to player communications as well as share player experiences and feedback that helps to inform and add perspective to our creative processes.
This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and professionalism as you will help develop communication strategies on how to keep our community informed of all the exciting developments coming to the Marathon live game pre and post launch. Good communication is a two-way street, you will also be building and maintaining processes for how to digest and document feedback from millions of players and deliver it to stakeholders across Bungie.
Always thinking about the future, this candidate must have strong opinions, loosely held, on trends and where channels, community, and the industry are heading. This role craves innovation and isn’t afraid to try risky initiatives in service of breaking ground on the next hottest thing. Proficient in both reactive and live settings, including on camera, this person educates and motivates their peers to do the same.
This role reports to the Principal Community Manager.

Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment). Prospective full-time employees who are located outside of a Bungie approved state will need to establish residency in an approved state within 45 days of their start date. Contractors will follow a digital first approach adhering to the location guidelines agreed upon by our third-party employer/vendor and Bungie. Bungie’s remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.
