Senior Houdini Lookdev / Lighting Artist

Alt.vfx, one of the Australias most accomplished VFX studios, is on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Lookdev/Lighting Artist to join our Brisbane office on a fixed term contract basis.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Senior Lookdev/Lighting Artist in high-end VFX or animation.
• Excellent skills in Houdini, Maya, Arnold, and Nuke.
• Strong artistic sensibility with a keen eye for detail, color, and realism.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing and refining photorealistic looks for environments, characters, creatures and assets.
• Creating high-quality lighting setups and renders, primarily in Houdini.
• Collaborating closely with the CG and compositing teams to achieve stunning final results.

Position: Freelance Senior Lookdev/Lighting Artist.
Start Date: Immediate.
Location: Brisbane Office.
Contract: 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
