The Creative Services CoE team is the cornerstone of short form delivery for the WBD streaming platforms and provides post production services from the Budapest hub.

As Post Resource Supervisor, your role is to ensure the timely delivery of all short form marketing across 20+ languages covering MAX & HBO Max streaming, all online and social communication platforms, Owned and Operated linear channels including HBO and Cinemax. You are responsible for resource coordination and delivery of promotional material for all EMEA markets. You are participating in the relationship of one or more business strategy teams, including Subscriber Acquisition, Streaming Platform, Social, Brand and Linear Programming. You will be communicating with business strategy teams, in-house creative team in addition to external vendors and teams. You are responsible for ensuring creative consistency, high quality compliance with each of the title guidelines combined with high volume efficiency.

Solid understanding and experience of broadcast and technical Post Production workflows is an essential requirement.

As Post Resource Supervisor you are expected to work collaboratively with the orchestration team, and more specifically the production managers, to service post production requests from each business team to ensure timely delivery. 

The Post Resource Supervisor role is primarily responsible for managing post production resources engaged for short form content through to completion. This role will primarily be responsible for short-form promos and trailer localization for MAX and other streaming stakeholders (pan EMEA).

As well as dealing directly with production management and other stakeholder contacts and groups, you will be working within the post team to negotiate and allocate edit, GFX and audio resources (as applicable) to prioritise timely delivery of final post services.

The Post Resource Supervisor will use bookings and curation tools and systems (such as Xytech, and Monday.com) to manage resource allocation, capacities, turnaround timelines and liaise directly with Mastering, GFX and Audio creative talent teams. Communication is fundamental to the process and key to our success. This will include regular interaction, collaboration, and liaising with wider department service hubs, including London.

The Post Resource Supervisor will report to and work closely with the AV Versioning Lead to efficiently meet changing priorities and provide support to short form workflows, including: LOP’s (Local Production trailers), Theatrical trailer localisation, and other workstreams, as required. A high level of communication and organisational attention to detail is required to ensure optimum service is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resources effectively to meet daily AV requests from business strategy teams across 20+ languages covering all the EMEA promotional needs.
  • Resource coordination management of AV asset creation across all Post-production functions including, mastering, GFX, Sound, QC, timely delivery, and administration.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to have all original master assets available and ingested as per EMEA systems and technical specification by the time post production starts.
  • Deal with local master asset creation and distribution to internal team and external partners to support creative asset development.
  • Track ongoing projects on Monday.com database boards, update data and actual statuses accordingly on a daily basis.
  • Allocate and coordinate internal and external resources related to AV
  • Manage stakeholders, give updates to business strategy teams, vendor teams and other operations teams to ensure service levels agreements
  • Aid in the optimization of the team’s project management processes and tech stack usage including Monday.com, Xytech, Box, Sharepoint, Slack, Local and Cloud storages, among others.
  • Manage and actively participate in QA efforts to ensure consistent and flawless creative output.  
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects) is advantageous to help support production feasibility
  • Contribute to troubleshooting to maintain and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to introduce new workflows and continuously optimize existing collaborations
  • Booking promo and trailer work into Xytech, Monday, and resource management end to end content pipeline
  • Communicating status of edits to stakeholder leads, Production managers, and other key contacts as needed.
  • Ensuring all internal suites, workstations, gfx, edit and audio people resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyze and regularly report post production workload and asset output volume per monitored categories.
  • Booking edit, GFX and audio suites and liaising directly with post creative talent to discuss briefs & ETA, track progress and report to team management as well as stakeholders.
  • Supervision and active participation in accurate tracking of Promo performance for data reporting
  • Daily use of agreed communication channels within the team and within the wider organization
  • Maintaining QC standards of newly created materials
  • Finance administration, handle vendor invoices, create purchase orders, manage vendor documentation according to corporate finance guidelines
  • Organizing briefing meetings, team meetings
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in video production, AV asset management, resource supervision, and /or Solid background in Post Production and/or Broadcast Operations.
  • International experience in creative digital content production
  • Advanced knowledge of media encoding, online and broadcast tech standards, file-based workflows.
  • Intercultural communication experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Attention to detail is essential, as is high organizational capability
  • Quality assurance experience in digital productions  
  • Team player, ability to collaborate efficiently
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, under tight deadlines, and whilst keeping a focus on both the big picture and the most minor details 
  • Ability to prioritize in a time pressured environment
