Position Summary

The primary responsibilities of the selected candidate will be to Safely manufacture or package high quality products, which meet our customers' needs.  The Operator I responsibilities will include raw material selection, hose transfer, batch manufacture per ISO procedures, sampling, packaging, and vessel cleanup.  The secondary roles and responsibilities will be to train on the general principles of liquid chemical manufacturing or solids packaging, in preparation of transitioning into the role of a chemical Operator II in the production plant (Plant 4). Previous chemical experience will be considered to determine if the candidate experience can be upgraded to the Operator II role.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to read and follow written instruction.

Able to do accurate mathematical computations.

Can safely operate a sit-down forklift.

Has some knowledge of liquid chemical transfer.

Has some knowledge of pump operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Chemical Operations

Manufacturing and Packaging

Warehouse and Shipping

Barcoding using a scanner and computer data entry

Education:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Associate Degree preferred
