Job Description

As a Program Manager, Geo Data Operations Measurement at Google, you'll manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to launch. Responsibilities include developing project plans, coordinating with engineering, product management, QA, operations, and customers; setting up and managing project teams; leveraging internal tools to automate processes; and monitoring project progress, risks, and team performance. You'll need experience in program management, data analysis, and operations management, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT or equivalent experience. Experience with machine learning and mapping technologies is preferred. The role involves working with multiple stakeholders across various offices and time zones to ensure timely project completion.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT
1+ years program management experience
Data analysis experience
Operations management experience
Project management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills

Good to have:

Machine learning concepts experience
Experience solving machine learning challenges
Mapping technology experience
Experience with Google Geo products

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in program management.
Experience with Data Analysis.
Experience with Operations Management.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Machine Learning concepts.
Experience solving machine learning or artificial intelligence challenges involving data analytics and statistics.
Experience in mapping technologies and or mapping operations.
Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to make trade-offs.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to define projects and execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from concept to launch, develop and coordinate project estimates, plans, or metrics, work and communicate with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Operations, and customers.
Setup and manage in-house/outsourced project execution teams with associated processes to ensure completion of the program.
Understand Google Geo products, internal tools, and processes, and leverage those to push automation and increase work efficiency.
Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks/delays and team performance to program teams, executives, and other sponsors.
