As a Promo Editor you will be responsible for creating compelling promos to pull the audience to watch the full content. The right person would stay abreast of national and international OTT formats and the latest content. You are someone who would keep the brand continually relevant and ahead of the competition. Strong cross-functional departmental collaboration skills are a must to understand briefs for edits. You are someone who would take complete end-to-end ownership of the editing work and drive each of the designated shows and events. You can innovatively create multiple points of view around high points in the content and develop them into promos that will hook the audience to the shows.
Requirements
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects or Blender.
- Proficiency in using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Can design motion graphics, such as animated text, animated visuals, UX/UI animation, and more.
- Knowledge of sound editing and design is essential. You should be able to adjust audio levels, add sound effects, and ensure high-quality audio throughout the promo. Understanding how to create an immersive and engaging audio experience is key..
- Experience in working in the Entertainment Industry
- Strong understanding of Photoshop, After Effects, Sound design and music sweetening experience is a plus
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
- Ability to organize and schedule work effectively and balance multiple priorities, project timelines, and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple projects, keep track of various assets, and meet deadlines
