As the Director, Esports for MOONTON Games, you will be responsible for overseeing the esports business of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in the local market, leading one of the most popular esports leagues globally, and delivering exciting competitive content to over 15 million users. As one of the most popular mobile games globally, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has over 1 billion downloads worldwide and over 100 million monthly active users and is one of the most-watched Esports titles globally.

Job Descriptions

- Develop and execute the strategic plans for specific national esports leagues to achieve the esports viewership goals of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in the region, contributing to the ongoing success of the game in the local market.

- Manage the operations of the esports professional league, including scheduling, tournament formats, community management, livestreaming management, and team management.

- Build the brand and market strategy for the league, collaborate with various partners to drive marketing activities, and explore and develop the commercial value of the league.

- Drive revenue generation through innovative monetization strategies, including sponsorships, media rights, merchandise, and in-game activations.

- Maintain communication and collaboration with key stakeholders in the local esports industry (including government officals and media partners), introduce additional resources from third parties, and work together to promote the development of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports.

- Build and manage a multinational team of 10 or more people, leading the team towards continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in the gaming or esports industry, with a passion for esports. Experience in managing large-scale esports events is preferred.

- Well-versed in various types of games and possess a deep understanding of the esports landscape.

- 3+ years of team management experience, with a preference for experience in managing multinational and multicultural teams. Priority will be given to those who have managed teams of 5 or more people.

- Understanding of game development, operation, and publishing, with experience in game publishing

- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

- Candidates who are proficient in Filipino or Mandarin to effectively communicate with various external parties or stakeholders will be given a competitive edge.

- Based in Singapore, Shanghai, or Manila.
