Company Description

Hi, we’re Ace & Tate — and yes, we make glasses. But more than that, we make working here worth your while.

We’re looking for a London Regional Manager to lead one of our most exciting and commercially important regions.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with Store Managers across Central and Greater London — coaching, supporting, and setting them (and their teams) up for success. You’ll drive results, build strong teams, and make sure every customer gets the warm, expert service we’re known for — all while staying close to the day-to-day.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a brilliant team: You’ll coach and develop our London Store Managers — from onboarding and 1:1s to performance reviews and succession planning. You’ll be their go-to support, helping them grow their people, hit targets, and build strong, inclusive team cultures.

  • Own the numbers: You’ll be responsible for the commercial performance of your stores. That means keeping a close eye on key KPIs like sales, conversion, NPS, UPT, and lens upgrades — and turning insights into action, week in, week out.

  • Be present and hands-on: You’ll be regularly in-store, working alongside your teams and staying close to what’s really happening. You’ll lead store visits, run structured reviews, and support with coaching, operational routines, and optical compliance.

  • Champion exceptional service: We want every customer to walk out feeling great. You’ll help store teams deliver a standout journey from eye test to pick-up, using NPS and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with HQ: You’ll join weekly trade and retail ops calls to stay aligned with the wider business, feed in insights from the floor, and help shape what comes next for retail at Ace & Tate.

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of regional manager experience or 5+ years of Store Manager experience –idealy in optics and including time in a flagship or high-volume location

  • Multi-site management experience, preferably in London or a similarly complex retail landscape

  • A strong commercial track record, with the ability to coach others toward hitting targets

  • A deep understanding of optical retail, KPIs, compliance, and the customer journey

  • A hands-on, people-first leadership style that balances empathy with accountability

What we offer:

  • Bonus potential – Earn up to 8% monthly by hitting regional targets

  • Time off – 28 days holiday (with up to 33 after two years, based on full-time)

  • Wellbeing support – From healthy snacks and ClassPass discounts to free psychologist sessions via OpenUp

  • Optical perks – Free and discounted glasses and sunnies

  • A culture to love – Team events, great vibes, and a company you can feel proud to work for

  • Room to grow – Unlimited access to our internal learning platform

We’re accepting applications through July 10th — we’d love to hear from you before then.
