iLogos Game Studios is seeking a Rigger to create flexible, animation-friendly character rigs. The role involves preparing characters for high-quality animation and seamless gameplay integration. Responsibilities include developing and implementing rigging setups, collaborating with modelers and animators, optimizing rigs for real-time engines, and maintaining best rigging practices. The ideal candidate should have experience rigging humanoid characters, proficiency in Maya, and a strong understanding of deformation and animation requirements. This is a remote, project-based contract offering flexible working hours.

We’re looking for a Rigger with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating flexible, animation-friendly character rigs.
You’ll play a key role in preparing characters for high-quality animation and seamless gameplay integration.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience rigging humanoid characters for real-time applications.
  • Proficiency in Maya; experience with game engine export pipelines preferred.
  • Strong understanding of deformation, skinning, and animation requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and iterate on rigs in collaboration with animation teams.

What the role is about:

  • Develop and implement rigging setups for stylized and semi-realistic characters.
  • Collaborate with modelers and animators to ensure smooth deformations and performance.
  • Optimize rigs for real-time engines and ensure pipeline efficiency.
