League of Geeks is looking for a talented Principal Artist with strong 2D game art skills (who loves building game worlds!) to join us on our next exciting project. In this pivotal role, you will take responsibility for developing and employing the game's art in-engine (e.g. Unity or Unreal) while helping fellow artists achieve their goals. You have experience building pipelines for games in-engine, and a decent understanding of 2D animation techniques (e.g. Spine, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, etc).
As a key member of LoG's team you will make fundamental decisions on the processes and pipelines of the game through pre-production, working in partnership with the creative director and engineers to deliver outstanding game-ready art assets with the goal of building a beautiful and living game world. You are an expert in your craft and will be able to provide critical guidance to other artists working on the project whilst maintaining a sustainable, healthy and positive working environment for the team to thrive in.
