Senior Multiplayer Game Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Multiplayer Game Developer to develop our educational word game using the Nakama Server. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TypeScript and experience with multiplayer game development. You will be responsible for developing key features such as tournaments, friends lists, spin wheels, mystery boxes, and ad integration ect. Ensuring smooth game synchronization, especially during disconnection and reconnection scenarios, will also be a crucial part of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement multiplayer features using Nakama networking framework.
• Create and integrate tournament features, friends lists, spin wheels, and mystery boxes.
• Implement ad integration within the game.
• Handle game synchronization issues during disconnection and reconnection scenarios.
• Implement network security measures and protocols to protect against cheating and unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to create a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Optimize game performance and ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug any game-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance game development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• Professional experience in game development, with a focus on multiplayer networking and handling synchronization issues
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Nakama networking frameworks.
• Proficient in C# and Unity3D game engine, Type script (Nakama)
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and synchronization techniques.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, latency optimization, and bandwidth management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve networking and gameplay issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
