Our mission is to provide delicious, nutritious, and accessible gluten-free alternatives that promote a healthy lifestyle. We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our team.
Job Overview: As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with the founder to support and execute our social media strategy to increase our online presence and build a strong community. You will assist in creating content, engaging with our audience, and analysing performance metrics. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their social media and digital marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Assist in creating, curating, and managing engaging content (text, images, video) for social media platforms.
- Help develop a content calendar and schedule posts across various platforms.
- Support producing high-quality, shareable content that educates the audience about millets and their benefits.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in growing and managing our Facebook group dedicated to gluten-free healthy alternatives.
- Help facilitate discussions and share relevant content within the community.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor social media performance metrics and compile reports.
- Assist in analysing data to provide insights and recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
Research and Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
- Research industry trends and competitor activities to inform our social media strategy.
Influencer Outreach:
- Support the identification and engagement with influencers, bloggers, and other potential partners to promote our products.
- Assist in managing influencer collaborations and partnerships to expand brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest) and designing platforms like Canva.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Passion for healthy living and gluten-free products is a plus.
