Job Description

As a Software Engineer III, Mobile, Google Cloud, you'll design and build language and framework components for multi-platform applications using Firebase, Project IDX, Checks, Gemini, and Google Cloud Services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in user research, design, and product to understand developer needs. This role involves empowering developers to build full-stack applications augmented by AI and contributing to a diverse and inclusive team culture. Responsibilities include contributing to Google's next-generation technologies and working on projects critical to Google's needs. Opportunities exist to switch teams and projects as the business grows and evolves.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years experience with data structures/algorithms
2+ years Android/iOS development experience
2+ years software development experience in one or more languages (or 1 year with advanced degree)
Design and build language/framework components
Collaborate with cross-functional partners

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience developing accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
2 years of experience with Android or iOS application development.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or a year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Design and build language and frameworks components to assist both Google and external developers build multi-platform applications.
