Job Description

As a Software Engineering Manager at Avathon, you will lead the development of AI-powered applications and expand the capabilities of their Industrial SaaS platform. Responsibilities include architecting scalable data ETL and MLOps pipelines, leading the creation and expansion of multiple software engineering teams, and mentoring team members. You will need strong experience in SaaS application engineering, project/people management, and C# development with ASP.NET. Experience with Agile methodologies, gRPC services, and cloud-native tools on GCP is a plus. The role requires effective communication and leadership skills to drive projects across a global team.

Must have:

BS/MS in CS or related field
7+ years SaaS application engineering
4+ years project/people management
Hands-on C# experience with ASP.NET
Agile methodologies expertise

Good to have:

gRPC services experience
GCP experience (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, etc.)
Cross-platform development (Mobile, Desktop, IoT)

Building out both AI powered Applications and expanding the capabilities of our

Industrial SaaS platform

Architecting scalable data ETL, MLOps pipelines, data ingestion and workflows

Lead the creation and expansion of multiple new software engineering teams to scale

out development

You’ll Have

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field. Strong CS foundation with data

structures, algorithms, and software design knowledge.

7+ years of hands-on experience in SaaS applications engineering and platform

development

4+ years of project or people management experience, either as a manager or lead

contributor

Hands-on C# experience building scalable Web Applications with ASP.NET

Experience with Agile methodologies and software development best practices

Mentor and guide team members on technical issues and best practices

Effective communicator and leader, capable of initiating and driving projects with a

global team of not only developers but cross-functional departments

It Would Be Great If You Had

Experience with building gRPC services

Experience working with cloud-native tools on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud

Run, etc.)

Experience with cross-platform development, including but not limited to Mobile, Desktop

and IoT
