  • Develop and refine security-as-code methodologies to automate policy enforcement and compliance adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR, while implementing engineering-friendly security controls.
  • Establish risk management metrics and reporting frameworks to provide visibility into security posture and DevSecOps maturity.
  • Drive security awareness and training programs for developers, empowering them to own security within their workflows.
  • Partner with incident response teams to develop cloud-native detection and response mechanisms, ensuring robust security incident management.
  • security risks. Collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong focus on DevSecOps, cloud security, and secure engineering practices.
  • Expertise in AWS security, Kubernetes security, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of application security, API security, and secure coding best practices.
  • Proficiency with security tooling such as SAST, DAST, CSPM, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Experience with cloud identity and access management (IAM), network security, and secrets management.
  • Ability to work closely with software engineers and SREs to develop scalable, secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to manage complex projects, align multiple stakeholders, and drive security initiatives across engineering teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate security concepts into actionable engineering requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Zero Trust architectures and API security frameworks (OAuth, JWT, mTLS).
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), CISSP, or CISM.
