CatFace is looking for a talented Video Editor specializing in Minecraft content to contribute to the growth and creativity of our YouTube brand. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is adaptable, and has a strong passion for gaming—especially within the Minecraft universe. We’re seeking someone who can bring energy and creativity to Minecraft storytelling and visuals, aligned with our brand tone and audience expectations.

Candidates are required to submit a comprehensive resume along with a portfolio or samples of video editing work for consideration.

What You'll Do

• Assist in editing daily Minecraft-focused videos for the Aphmau channel.
• Add Text, Visuals, Sound Effects, and Music that match the Minecraft theme and our brand.
• Collaborate with the Editing team to keep creative assets streamlined and organized.
• Learn, understand, and help improve editing and rendering best practices, especially for Minecraft content.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in editing "Let's Play" or narrative-style Minecraft videos is essential.
• A strong grasp of YouTube trends, especially within the Minecraft community.
• A continuous drive to enhance content quality through creative editing techniques.
• A deep passion for YouTube Gaming Content, particularly Minecraft.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
• Interest in video content mechanics with the ability to quickly adapt to new trends.
• Agility to work in a fast-paced, evolving production environment.
• Strong communication and responsiveness in a collaborative team setting.
• Familiarity with Minecraft and other gaming platforms like Roblox.
• Solid understanding of technical details such as audio syncing, frame rates, and rendering.
