AML Rules Officer Responsibilities
  • Work with legal subject matter experts and outside counsel to examine, evaluate and investigate the various international laws, regulations, contractual obligations and industry best practices applicable to Facebook Payments and the international jurisdictions where it is regulated to provide financial services.
  • Determine and ensure effectiveness of compliance with international regulatory requirements, standards and internal (global and localized) policies and procedures.
  • Drive the overall strategy for designing financial crimes controls by building innovative scalable compliance systems, AML transaction monitoring models, risk rating models, and processes.
  • Assess, review, and monitor risk areas related to managing an internationally regulated payments compliance program on a global scale.
  • Work closely with internal and external audit teams to manage and drive discrete audit projects.
  • Help monitor and facilitate resolution of issues identified during examinations, audits or independent reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or in a compliance-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Financial and regulatory data analytics
  • 2. Applying analytical techniques to complex information sets in order to make logical recommendations to build rules and models
  • 3. Strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth
  • 4. Developing innovative scalable compliance systems that include transaction monitoring models, risk rating models and case management tools.
