The Analyst - Colleague Experience role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting travel data from various sources to identify cost-saving opportunities and traveler behavior patterns. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting with travel partner requirements. The role also involves monitoring geopolitical situations, handling end-user issues, managing travel payments, and supporting VVIP travel requests. Additionally, the role requires cultivating business relationships, flexibility in shift rotations, and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in system development, web development platforms, data analysis, and Microsoft applications.
Must have:
  • 2-3 years’ experience in system development.
  • Experience in working with web development platforms
  • Experience in bi analysis & Microsoft applications!
  • Shows strength with Microsoft and other company supported applications
  • Time management, prioritization, deliver to tight deadlines
Good to have:
  • Experience of a financial services company or other fast-paced organization

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret travel data from different sources (booking systems, supplier data, Internal trackers and reports, etc.).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, traveler behavior patterns, and policy alignment issues
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track travel spend, trends, and compliance.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in travel-related reporting systems.
  • Assist with key travel partners to ensure travel requirements are understood and met aligned to the LSEG Travel & Expense Policy and Guidelines
  • Continuously and actively monitoring geo-political situations that may affect travellers.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge of all systems and processes performed by the team, staying ahead of with business travel industry.
  • Applies to the Global Travel & Expense Policy Guidelines to ensure compliance and mitigate policy breaches
  • Support end to end functions on platforms such as Concur including regular testing and solve
  • Handle routine and sophisticated end user issues and queries regarding travel booking systems with moderate supervision
  • Handle travel payments, invoice elated queries, cost and credit card reconciliation and daily administration duties related to travel.
  • Handles basic end user issues and queries regarding travel booking systems with minimum supervision
  • Supplies as a teammate toward achieving the functional SLAs and critical metrics as well as racking and recording Travel and Admin KPIs monthly.
  • Delivery of a high quality and professional travel service to Group ExCo, Group Leader, and other VVIP travel requests, mainly handling Group and divisional travel reports
  • May need to take care of any in trip issues the traveller and VIPs may encounter during a trip, such as itinerary changes and extensions to travel if needed.

Additionally:

  • Cultivate business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally, externally and virtually with internal as well as external Partners.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as may be required including sickness and holiday cover of peers, where required.
  • Flexibility in 24 hr shift rotations, availability for weekend “ON CALL” and dedication to work hours as required.
  • Flexibility, discretion, and ability to always respect confidentiality.

Candidate Background:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in system development
  • Experience in working with web development platforms in an in-house corporate travel function and or corporate travel agency, international Airline or international hotel group
  • Experience in bi analysis & Microsoft applications!
  • Experience of a financial services company or other fast-paced organization

  • Shows strength with Microsoft® and other company supported applications, applying templates and standards to produce elements and incorporate them into presentations.
  • Time management, prioritization, ability to work under stress during peak periods and deliver to tight deadlines involving other partners.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively and independently as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail!
  • Skilled in identifying and acting on opportunities to improve methods and solutions via Continuous Improvements
  • Ability to collect and analyze and interpret data and communicate findings in a clear and actionable manner. Proficiency in analyzing sophisticated datasets to extract relevant insights and trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & proficiency in data analysis tools such as (Excel, SQL & Power-BI).
  • Ensures the efficient execution of tasks whilst delivering high quality outputs.
  • Ability to identify possible risks, problems and threats before they occur and then take steps to combat the potential risk.
  • Ability to develop a broad, big-picture view of the organization and its mission to innovate through analysis of issues and trends and translate data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Assists in the creation and documentation of incident, problem, or change reports. Possesses knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards to safeguard critical booking information.
  • Predicting future trends based on historical data analysis.
