What You Will Do
We are looking for a Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Engagement Lead to join our Finance and Operations Delivery Team!
The Engagement Lead will contribute to Spaulding Ridge’s success by driving the sales, delivery / implementation, and support of technology and business transformations for our Consumer (Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail) clientele through Anaplan. This role will partner with internal go-to-market and channel leadership to drive consumer vertical sales opportunities and maintain our award-winning partner reputation through best-in-class solution delivery across our clients.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
- Act as a Consumer industry subject-matter expert, supporting go-to-market sales development and internal collateral for the Anaplan cloud planning software
- Originate, facilitate, and deliver sales proposals for Consumer industry use cases to potential clientele through software demoes, implementation proposals and presentations
- Develop, initiate, control, and close Anaplan software implementation projects through a hybrid-agile project management methodology
- Manage the progress of the project and communicate the status to internal and client management and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Ensure project quality and success through holistic software development lifecycle knowledge – successfully navigating a team of Anaplan Solution Architects and Model Builders through all phases of the software implementation ensuring necessary deliverables are met and delivered to clients in-terms of scope, quality, financials, and timeline
- Identify, evaluate, and manage client and project dependencies between initiatives and resources
- Act as a source for direction, coaching, training, and guidance for less experienced Spaulding Ridge resources (e.g., Sr. Associates, Associates, and Analysts)
- Responsible for internal sales cycle reporting with internal executive leadership through formal governance practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing medium-to-large cross-divisional, multi-year projects with both a business and technology focus in the retail industry
- 5+ years of experience building and leading software development teams across the software development lifecycle
- 1-2+ years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting Anaplan software implementations
- 5+ years of experience in technology or management consulting leading software implementations leveraging agile software development methodologies
- Builds effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, establishing a strong rapport across practice and client leadership
- Uses industry subject matter expertise, innovative thinking, and sound judgement in the solutioning of client use cases and development of business opportunities for the firm
- Actively participates and collaborates within Spaulding Ridge and across our clients for the achievement of business goals
- Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach informed, risk-aware, and consensus-based business decisions
- Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customers
- Works smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and planned well to product quality work
- Executes effectively by utilizing provided resources, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress of goals
- Demonstrates a high level of emotional maturity, assisting in the career advancement and guidance of direct reports with various cultural and geographic backgrounds
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple assignments while maintaining the utmost quality of internal and external deliverables
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn various cloud-based technology platforms and services to expand solution quality to our clients while expanding internal business goals
- Experience ideating, creating, promoting, and presenting internal go-to-market collateral to support business advancement for organizational growth
- Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP, agile Scrum Master, or agile Product Management certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent training and experience
