As an Assistant Brand Manager for the 'betcha' brand, you will support the Head of Brand in developing and executing strategies to grow market presence, build brand engagement, and bring distinctive campaigns to life. This role involves hands-on brand planning, campaign execution, and creative development, offering the opportunity to shape key projects and drive results. You will collaborate with stakeholders across product, promotions, and creative teams, gaining experience in the full scope of marketing. A background in video production or a similar creative field is beneficial.

As an Assistant Brand Manager with betcha, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up in the world. Supporting the Head of Brand, you’ll help develop and deliver strategies that grow our market presence, build brand engagement, and bring bold, distinctive campaigns to life. From hands-on brand planning to campaign execution and creative development, this role offers the chance to shape key projects and drive results from day one.

You’ll work alongside a passionate, high-performing team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including product, promotions, and creative. This role offers experience across the full scope of marketing. We have offices expanding across multiple locations in New Zealand and Australia. This is a full time role based in our Auckland office.

Your day-to-day...

  • Support the development and execution of brand strategies and annual marketing plans
  • Assist Brand Managers with campaign planning and execution - including scripting, shooting, editing, and rollout
  • Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to brief, align, and deliver approved messaging and standout advertising assets
  • Help produce weekly promotional video and audio content, as well as campaign-related videos for internal and external use
  • Work with product and customer engagement teams to bring innovations to market and support new product or promo launches
  • Coordinate closely with other marketing functions and departments to ensure alignment and consistent brand messaging
  • Contribute to customer insight gathering and data analysis to inform brand and campaign decisions
  • Manage project budgets, raise purchase orders, and take part in special projects across advertising, product, and promotional initiatives

  • 2+ years’ experience in a marketing coordinator, creative, or advertising role
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, with proven analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure brand consistency and accuracy
  • Creative thinker with a flair for developing engaging branding and marketing strategies
