Job Description
ZURU is seeking a Senior Designer to join its award-winning Design Team and drive creative impact within the Toys portfolio. The role involves shaping the visual identity of ZURU's toy brands, creating visual assets for product stories, and ensuring brand consistency. Responsibilities include developing and executing brand-aligned visuals for digital, video, and retail platforms, leading asset production from concept to delivery, and translating brand narratives into engaging visual campaigns. The Senior Designer will also create motion assets, collaborate with the 3D/motion team, build brand guidelines, and work cross-functionally to support global campaigns. Additionally, the role involves refreshing visual identities, applying insights from toy trends, and ensuring creative output meets quality standards.
Must have:
- 5-8+ years in senior design role
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong skills in layout, typography, color
- Animation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
- Experience with 3D design tools
- Illustration and storyboarding
- Familiarity with toy branding trends

ROLE IMPACT
As a highly creative and experienced Senior Designer, you will play a central role in shaping the visual identity of ZURU’s toy brands. You’ll be responsible for crafting visual assets that bring product stories to life while ensuring brand consistency across all touch points. You’ll lead creative execution across photography, pitching decks, digital showroom assets, social content , and more. Working closely with Global Marketing and other key teams, you'll translate product narratives into visually engaging work that aligns with brand strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design & Execution:
- Develop and execute brand-aligned visuals for digital (social, eComm), video (showroom assets), and retail (shelf, POS)
- Lead asset production from concept to delivery—including planning and art directing photoshoots, animation, and motion content
- Translate brand and product narratives into engaging, cohesive visual campaigns across formats
- Create motion assets in After Effects and Premiere Pro—such as animated content , reels, and short-form brand videos
- Collaborate with in-house 3D/motion team to bring creative ideas to life
- Build brand guidelines, mood boards, and design templates that reflect each brand’s tone and strategy
- Work cross -functionally to deliver high-impact creative that supports global campaigns
Brand Development & Quality
- Refresh and evolve visual identities to stay trend-forward and category-relevant
- Apply insights from toy trends, packaging, and kids’ content culture into visual outputs
- Ensure creative output meets brand, quality, and colour standards across all formats
- Oversee production workflows and manage delivery of packaging and promotional materials
- Brief and guide external partners including illustrators, animators, and photographers
- Champion visual standards and brand integrity across teams
- Partner with marketing, product , and sales to align creative with business goals
- Participate in brainstorms to shape new brands, products, and campaign directions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5–8+ years’ experience in a similar senior design role
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Figma
- Strong skills in layout, typography, colour theory, animation, and attention to detail
- Creative problem-solver with a fast, flexible workflow
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects to tight timelines
- Collaborative and self-directed, with excellent communication skills
- Experience using project management tools such as Hive, Airtable, or similar platforms
Added advantage if you have:
- Experience with 3D design tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender
- Illustration and storyboarding capabilities
- Familiarity with trends in toy branding and digital-first marketing
- Experience managing or briefing external creative teams or agencies
