Your Mission

Demonware is looking for an experienced Associate Director to manage a team of Project Managers in our Game Services department. The responsibilities of this manager will include, managing a team of Project Managers, setting and implementing project management best practices, driving end to end delivery of critical path online services. 

To be successful you will need to demonstrate excellent leadership, project management expertise, stakeholder management and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:  

  • Managing the development, performance and careers of a multi located team of Project Managers 

  • Working with department and studio leaders to align on planning priorities, expectations and deliverables from the Project Management function 

  • Drive the end to end delivery of the agreed priorities, expectations and deliverables across the Project Management Function. 

  • Support the team by removing blockers, adapting plans and effectively managing risks and dependencies. 

  • Adopt efficient reliable reporting mechanisms for resourcing, workload, effort and financial elements of the projects and department. 

  • Foster a flexible, adaptable and effective working culture 

  • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

  • Draft new and improve existing project management policies and processes to optimise the efficiency and impact of the Project Management Organization 

  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.

  • Accurately document the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.

About You

  • A Project Management Professional Certification 

  • A minimum of 5 years people management experience 

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the Project Management function 

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to details and technicalities.

  • Adept organizational and technical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and multi-tasking skills.
