The Team & Role
Zuora Legal is a world class team of smart, empathetic people, who apply their tremendous legal expertise and business acumen in collaborative and agile ways. We focus on Zuora’s most important legal issues, do the right thing, simplify complicated issues, and support, respect and enjoy each other.

THE ROLE
A positive, agile, execution-oriented, accountable, business-focused Legal leader and communicator to help drive our Commercial and Go-To-Market revenue generation support strategies.
The Associate General Counsel, Commercial reports to the VP Deputy General Counsel, Commercial, and has responsibilities that include:
(i) developing collaborative and influential relationships with the EMEA Zuora Sales team and providing strategic and focused advice and support sales transactions;
(ii) developing and advancing Zuora’s revenue generation strategies;
(iii) working collaboratively with Legal colleagues, including with respect to leading commercial transaction support and contract negotiation and associated transactions, including with respect to protecting customer privacy; and
(iv) otherwise driving Legal projects and priorities.
This role will be based out of our London office (Soho area) at least two days a week. There is some opportunity to travel (<10%), especially in support of developing relationships with Sales leaders and Legal teammates.
The pay and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with this important role.

15 years ago, Zuora was born out of a vision that we could evangelize a fundamentally new way of doing business by shifting the focus of companies to deliver recurring, people-centric services instead of a one-time sale of products. This is how we coined the term, the Subscription Economy®.

Companies have realized that the path to growth going forward is to establish direct, digital relationships with their customers, and to nurture and monetize these relationships through an ever growing set of digital services.
Alongside this evolution, Zuora has been there every step of the way. We started with Zuora Billing, and have expanded our award-winning multi-product portfolio to include Zuora Revenue, Zuora Payments and Zuora Central Platform. More recently, we’ve added subscription experience platform Zephr to our family, further expanding our capabilities to serve as an intelligent hub that monetizes the complete quote to cash and revenue recognition process at scale. We call this Monetization.
