About the team and the role:

Join TCGplayer, an eBay company, on our quest to become the most trusted trading card game (TCG) platform, connecting and empowering the hobby community. Founded by TCG enthusiasts, we operate a global marketplace and develop tools, technologies, and solutions that enable small businesses to sell TCGs efficiently and profitably at scale. As a Cloud Operations Engineer at level 25, you will be integral to optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure operations to support our mission.

The Cloud Operations Team at TCGplayer is a dedicated group of professionals focused on maintaining and enhancing our cloud-based infrastructure. We work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud resources. Our team champions a culture of innovation and efficiency, leveraging the latest cloud technologies to drive performance and scalability across our platform.

What you will accomplish:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support our platform's growth.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Automate cloud operations processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cloud solutions into the development lifecycle.
• Enhance security measures and compliance across our cloud systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization and cloud operations.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Extensive experience in cloud operations roles, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools to ensure cloud system health. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
