Job Summary

As a Backend Developer Intern at Viga Entertainment Technology, you'll build RESTful services used across various services, devices, and platforms. You'll design scalable backend architectures to handle a large number of concurrent users. Your responsibilities include writing efficient, reusable, and testable Python code using open-source frameworks. Experience with frameworks like Django or Node.js, user authentication (OAuth 2.0), DevOps basics (Docker, Docker Compose), and understanding of scalable application design principles are crucial. AWS, GCP, or Azure experience is a plus. This is a full-time internship based in Bangalore, India.

Job Description

Viga Entertainment Technology is working towards a vision of enabling anyone to showcase their imagination to the world. By using Cloud, AI, and real-time rendering we work on cutting edge applications for the entertainment industry.

You will develop RESTful services that will be consumed across multiple services, devices and platforms.

Implement back-end architecture that can scale to handle large number of concurrent users.

You will write reusable, testable and efficient code using Python using some of the opensource framework.

Requirements

Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Node, Express

Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments(OAuth 2.0)

Basics of Devops such as Docker, Docker compose, Docker containerization etc.

Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

Basic knowledge of Automation and CI/CD

Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform(GCP) or Azure is desirable.
