As a Data Engineer Team Leader, you will join the team that owns all of our data transformations, modeling, and optimization. 
Responsibilities

• Lead a team, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring smooth integration.
• Establish and manage key processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and various interfaces to drive team performance and achieve goals.
• Manage significant team responsibilities and handle high-pressure demands and urgent tasks effectively.
• Make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, helping them grow professionally.
• Creating new data solutions while supporting and optimizing existing ones.
• Managing a data structure & model, which supports and reflects the actual business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience required.
• Vast experience in data modeling.
• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• 2+ years of experience with Spark.
• 2+ years of experience with DBT.
• Extensive experience with Git.
• Proficient in DWH methodologies and best practices (BigQuery - advantage).
• Experience transforming data into visual insights and building dashboards in a BI platform (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Looker etc. Looker - advantage).
• BA/BSC degree in: Information systems / Industrial Engineering or related field required.
