Résumé :  

Final Strike Games recherche un designer technique de gameplay talentueux pour aider à créer un gameplay incroyable et des expériences utilisateur AAA engageantes. Le candidat idéal maîtrise plusieurs domaines du design, peut rapidement créer des maquettes et itérer sur des idées, est un bon communicateur et peut aider à mener d'autres membres de l'équipe vers un produit fini de haute qualité. Ce rôle appliquera une pensée critique et de l'imagination pour rendre le jeu aussi amusant et gratifiant que possible. Le candidat idéal aura fait ses preuves en répondant à des attentes élevées et en atteignant des livrables clés. Le leadership, la communication et la collaboration seront les clés du succès dans ce rôle, ainsi qu'une passion pour créer des jeux vraiment mémorables.


Responsabilités : 

- Exécuter toutes les étapes du développement : des idées verbales aux croquis sur papier, à la documentation des fonctionnalités et à l'implémentation dans le jeu.  

- Itérer rapidement sur des prototypes de design jouables.  

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les partenaires techniques pour maintenir les objectifs de design tout en créant des fonctionnalités de jeu performantes.  

- Collaborer avec des équipes interdisciplinaires pour définir le travail pour les sprints et les jalons.  

- Implémenter des ressources dans le moteur avec UE5 et gérer les fichiers via le contrôle de version.  

- Travailler avec les parties prenantes pour comprendre les objectifs, les priorités et la vision du projet.  

- Piloter les objectifs, les priorités et la vision du projet à travers des équipes interdisciplinaires pour livrer des fonctionnalités de haute qualité du début à la fin.  

- Rédiger et maintenir la documentation de design et les processus pour les fonctionnalités et travaux gérés.  

- Établir et maintenir les flux de travail et processus quotidiens pour les équipes de fonctionnalités gérées.  

- Gérer fréquemment les éléments JIRA pour les fonctionnalités et travaux gérés.  

- Aider à établir, piloter et maintenir des métriques et des normes pour garantir des résultats de haute qualité cohérents.  

- Participer à des tests de jeu pour recueillir des retours et créer des actions à entreprendre pour les équipes de fonctionnalités gérées.  

- Identifier et corriger les bogues de design.  

- Collaborer avec l'équipe de production pour maintenir le calendrier et les priorités des livrables des équipes de design et des corrections de bogues.  


Exigences :  

- Plus de 3 ans d'expérience en design de jeux.  

- A conçu, développé et livré au moins 1 titre sur PC ou console.  

- Maîtrise de la suite Adobe et d'autres outils pertinents.  

- Connaissance et expérience d'Unreal Engine 4/5.  

- Expérience dans le développement de mécaniques de base pour une variété d'expériences de jeu.  

- Excellente communication, capable de recevoir des retours et des directives, et désireux d'apprendre et d'enseigner aux autres.  

- Capacité à présenter et à expliquer sa réflexion sur le design, les mécaniques de jeu et les objectifs de design à tous les niveaux de la direction.  

- Capable de développer et de défendre une vision de design solide pour un système de jeu de la conception à l'achèvement.  

- Forte capacité à analyser et adapter rapidement les designs pour les améliorer en continu.  

- Capacité à s'adapter rapidement à de nouveaux outils, technologies et méthodologies de développement.  

- Connaissance approfondie de l’état actuel des designs de systèmes de gameplay.

Summary:

Final Strike Games is looking for a talented Technical Gameplay Designer to help create amazing gameplay and engaging AAA user experiences. The ideal candidate is skillful across several Design areas, can rapidly create mockups and iterate on ideas, is a good communicator, and can help lead other team members to a finished high-quality product. This role will apply critical thinking and imagination to help make the game as fun and rewarding as it can be. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting high expectations and hitting milestone deliverables. Leadership, communication, and collaboration will be the keys to success in this role, as well as a passion for making truly memorable games.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute across all stages of development: from verbal ideas to paper sketches to feature documentation and in-game implementation
  • Rapidly iterate on playable design prototypes
  • Work closely with engineering partners to maintain design goals while creating performant game features
  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams to scope work for sprints and milestones
  • Implement assets in-engine with UE5 and manage files through source control
  • Work with the stakeholders to understand project goals, priorities, and vision
  • Drive project goals, priorities, and vision across interdisciplinary teams to deliver high features from start to finish
  • Write & maintain design documentation and processes for owned features & work
  • Establish & maintain day-to-day workflows and processes for owned feature teams
  • Frequently manage JIRA items for owned features & work
  • Help to establish, drive, & maintain metrics and standards to ensure consistent high-quality results
  • Participate in playtests to collect feedback and create action items for owned feature teams
  • Identify and fix Design bugs
  • Collaborate with the Production team to maintain schedule and priorities of the design teams deliverables and bug fixes




Requirements:

  • 3+ years of game design experience
  • Designed, developed, and shipped 1+ titles on PC or Console
  • Proficient in the Adobe Suite and other relevant tools
  • Unreal Engine 4/5 knowledge and experience
  • Experience developing core mechanics for a variety of game experiences
  • Excellent communicator who can take feedback and direction well and is willing to learn and teach others
  • The ability to sell, present, and talk through your design thinking, game mechanics and overall design goals to all levels of management
  • Able to develop and champion a strong design vision for a game system from concept to completion
  • Strong ability to quickly analyze and adapt designs to continuously improve them
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and development methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of the current “state of the art” for gameplay systems designs
