Job Description
As a Developer Platform Frameworks Engineer, you will be instrumental in building new APIs and tools for the Apple Maps Developer experience. Your responsibilities include translating client requirements into scalable code, designing and implementing 3rd party developer APIs and tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also develop and maintain cross-platform features that integrate Maps with the Apple ecosystem, contributing to projects such as FindMy, Weather, Photos, and supporting thousands of third-party developers.
Must have:
- Elicit and translate requirements into code.
- Design and implement 3rd party developer APIs and tools.
- Collaborate with various teams.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform features.
Job Details
We build new APIs and tools powering the Apple Maps Developer experience. On our team, you will help us take new features from conceptualization, through design and implementation, all the way to announcing them at Apple’s Developer Conference! Furthermore, you will partner directly with a wide range of clients to build highly impactful mapping solutions, including FindMy, Weather, Photos, and thousands of 3rd party developers. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Elicit requirements from our clients and translate them into scalable, reliable code. - Design, review and implement 3rd party developer APIs & Tools. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Human Interaction Design, Services, and other Engineering and Data teams. - Develop, launch, and maintain cross-platform features that integrate Maps with the Apple ecosystem.
