About the Role:
We’re looking for a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to help us take our infrastructure to the next level. In this role, you’ll be primarily focused on automating workflows, managing deployments, and optimizing our cloud systems for scalability. You’ll work closely with the engineering team to create and maintain robust, secure, and efficient systems that support rapid development cycles.

While the core focus of this position will be on DevOps tasks, you’ll also have the chance to work with cloud technologies, helping shape our cloud infrastructure and ensuring that things run smoothly across environments. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, streamlining workflows, and working with the latest cloud tools, we’d love to have you on the team.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and configure our cloud systems to ensure they are running smoothly and securely.
  • Build and maintain backend infrastructure to support development and deployment pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows to automate and streamline our release process.
  • Set up and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to ensure consistent and scalable deployments.
  • Create monitoring solutions (including logging and performance metrics) to provide insight into system health and performance.
  • Develop internal dashboards for visualizing critical system data and performance metrics.
  • Maintain security best practices, including managing authentication and authorization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to improve deployment processes, automate tasks, and optimize cloud performance.



Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience 
  • Strong experience with:
    • Containerization tools like Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes
    • Linux administration (system management, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
    • At least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    • Git and GitHub automation (CI/CD pipelines)
    • SQL and database administration
    • C# development with ASP.NET
    • Authentication and access control (OAuth, JWT, etc)
    • Security best practices in cloud environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management skills in a fully remote work environment


Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Grafana).
  • Experience with cloud rendering (particularly AWS Deadline)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible

  • The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000–$140,000 for candidates with 4–6 years of experience and $140,000–$180,000 for those with 6+ years of experience.The actual base salary for any offer will vary based on individual qualifications and market factors. The listed ranges above are a guideline, and the base salary for this role may be modified. In addition to salary, your compensation will include a generous equity package, reimbursement for health insurance costs, paid vacation time and sick leave, and retirement (401(k)) benefits.
