The Microsoft Erada Internship is a paid nine-month program designed to accelerate employability in Qatar. As a Business Program Management Intern, you'll identify, define, and design opportunities to support or develop new programs or improve existing ones. You'll advocate for program value through defined metrics, monitor program alignment with objectives, and ensure efficient process execution. The program includes onboarding, technical and professional skilling, on-the-job training with mentoring and coaching, and support for Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects. Interns will contribute to program landscape research, forecasting, and business trend analysis, assisting in improving existing programs and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in Qatar
  • Fluency in English
  • At least one semester/term remaining after internship

As a Business Program Management Intern, you will identify, define, and design opportunities to support and/or develop new programs or improve current programs. You will advocate for and demonstrate the value of the program through clearly defined metrics in order to gain buy in from stakeholders, partners and customers. You will monitor programs to ensure all activities align with program objectives and ensures program processes are executed efficiently including change management and/or program improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

 

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field or recently graduated.
  • Are you legally authorized (have citizenship or a valid visa/work permit) to work in Qatar? (Legally authorized = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
  • Must have at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
  • Fluency in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Currently pursuing Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.

About: Erada Program is aiming to accelerate employability in Qatar and create market impact through early in career recruitment, and skilling programs.

 

Program overview:  Microsoft Erada Internship is a paid nine-month training program that offers globally recognized technical and professional certifications & skills, and on-the-job training to include mentoring, coaching, job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments.

 

Program Details: The 9 months, full-time program is divided into two key phases (Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling, Phase 2 - On The Job Training)

Phase oneOnboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)

  • Onboarding and introduction to Microsoft’s mission, culture, strategy & structure.
  • Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.
  • Professional and soft skilling courses including project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, and time management.

Phase two: On-the-job training (8 months)

  • Joining as an BPM for on-the-job shadowing and training.
  • Mentorship and coaching sessions.
  • Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.
  • Advanced technology trainings including AI, Machine Learning & Cloud Computing.

Responsibilities

 

• Assists others in performing program landscape research and analysis (e.g., internal and/or external market, sales, delivery), forecasting, and examining business trends (e.g., customer feedback and expectations) to identify audience size and program scope, stay current, agile, and competitive.
• Helps improve operations of existing programs by helping apply industry methodology, define program issues, assess various scenarios, and select the optimal scenario to resolve issues.
• With oversight from others, contributes to the direction and strategy from leadership regarding business area of expertise in order to help execute plans that shift current priorities to new organizational initiatives and objectives, and influences others to change behavior accordingly. Learns to define vision and strategy for change, broad and specific impact, and the flow of communication to the organization.
• Learns how to define and track the success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs]), such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, and effectiveness for the program.
• Assists others working with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery.
