About GovGPT: GovGPT, based in Silicon Valley startup working on cutting-edge computer vision and inference technology for public safety (police, fire, military) use cases. We are started by succcessful entreprenerus with a prior exit to Google and who have built a self funded, ecommerce company (Trademarkia) with over a hundred thousand customers. We have a software development center in Hyderabad, India.

What we do? GovGPT makes advanced AI hardware and software products that focus on real time threat detection and response. AI-driven solutions primarily for the US market. Our projects focus on advanced real-time sensory analysis systems and recommendation engines.

Role Overview: As an Expert AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our advanced software solutions. You will work on both GovGPT DragonFly™ and FireFly, integrating real-time sensory inputs and applying business rules and standard operating procedures to provide actionable recommendations and situational awareness. We are forming an initial team of superstars and are looking to hire three engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance computer vision and speech based AI capabilities, focusing on NLP and inference optimization.
• Integrate real-time sensory inputs from various devices, cameras, and systems such as remote 5g stationary cameras, radio controlled drones, and body-worn cameras.
• Strong skills in API integration with various cameras and custom devices.
• Exceptional skills in fine-tuning models and using the latest LLM models for integration.
• Excellent full-stack development skills, with knowledge of databases and storage, particularly in Python, being a plus.
• Leverage edge processing with NVIDIA Jetson to minimize latency and optimize detection models for fire, weapon, and threat detection.
• Focus on achieving as much edge-side processing as possible for both FireFly and DragonFly, with some language inference done on the web but prioritizing detection and recommendation on the edge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing NLP and computer vision solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing and sensory input integration from various devices.
• Experience with deploying AI models on mobile devices or tablets.
• Strong skills in API integration with cameras and custom devices.
• Exceptional skills in fine-tuning models and using the latest LLM models for integration.
• Excellent full-stack development skills, with knowledge of databases and storage, particularly in Python, being a plus.
• Expertise in edge processing with NVIDIA Jetson to minimize latency and optimize detection models for fire, weapon, and threat detection.
• Focus on achieving as much edge-side processing as possible for both FireFly and DragonFly, with some language inference done on the web but prioritizing detection and recommendation on the edge.
• Skills and expertise matter more than years of experience for this role.
